Installing Instant Pendant Light Conversion Kits

If you are having trouble using the converter kit, this guide will help you out.

  1. Disconnect power supply before installation.
  2. Remove the bulb from the existing fixture.
  3. Loosen cord restraint under the canopy on the fixture and allow the canopy to move down the cord.
  4. Loosen cord vice on socket assembly with a screwdriver to adjust cord length.
  5. Pull the cord through until at the proper length and then tighten the cord vice with the screwdriver to hold the cord at the desired length.
  6. Screw socket assembly at top of the fixture into a recessed light fixture socket.
  7. Lift canopy on the fixture to ceiling, arranging excess cord in the canopy so that fixture.
  8. Remove the socket ring from the socket on the fixture
  9. Then, attach a glass shade and bulb.
